Why 15 minutes of strength training is better than hours of cardio!

If you want to reshape your body, lose some fat, see those muscles again that seem like a figment of your imagination, then you need to be looking at doing strength training?

Strength training means any exercise which forces your muscles to work harder than they normally do in order to increase the amount of lean muscle.  The more muscle you have the faster your metabolism will be.  To put it simply the more muscle you have the more calories you burn.   Muscle burns calories all day not only when your exercising but even in your sleep!!  So muscle is good!

Normal strength training can bulk you up however Vibra-Train strength training builds lean toned muscle.  You’re not going to bulk up!! Lean toned muscle is what the majority of people are after and strength training at Vibra-Train along with good nutrition can achieve these results quickly.

Fat burning cardio combines short but intense interval training with good nutrition.  To lose fat you need to burn calories and build muscle.   Fifteen minute fat burning workouts is the way to go to achieve good results and quickly.  The bikes and treadmills that are meant to be fat burning are actually little more than calorie – burning exercise.  You need to be careful also as long workouts can leave you feeling drained and tired for the day.  I suppose that’s ok if you’re a professional athlete and all you do is train and recover but if not, who has time for that?

Something to think about, would you rather look like a sprinter, or a marathon runner???  Marathon runners are all skin and bone as they burn a lot of the muscle through hours of cardio.  Sprinters however, do lots of interval training and strength training, which leaves them fit and with amazing sculptured bodies and very strong.

True fat burning workouts are short and intense. Starving yourself and running on the treadmill for hours will cause you to lose weight (well temporarily) but some of that weight will be muscle that you have burnt therefore it won’t help you to tone, shape your body or help to burn fat as you’re reducing your muscle. Challenge your muscles and this will help boost your metabolism and achieve a lean, toned body faster.

Vibration training is intense strength training for a short period of time.  It’s intense on the muscle fibres because it engages close to 100% of your muscle fibres for a short amount of time.  Even the professional’s sports people cannot engage this amount of muscle fibre with conventional training.  Hence why Vibra-Train is so effective.  It only takes 10-15 minutes 3 times a week.
